The Parisian designer Sylvia Toledano imagines talisman jewelry that express her artistic universe, a combination of colors and positive energy. All her jewelry, that she qualifies as neo-vintage, is handmade in patinated, textured gilded brass and semi-precious stones. Each piece is created using stones she has chosen for their beauty, power or color. LASSANAI was conceived in the wake of magical adventure, in the tiny island paradise of Sri Lanka. During her time there as a resort manageress, Australian founder and designer, Julia, became mesmerized by Sri Lanka’s gemstones in their natural, unfaceted form. Keen to remain creatively connected to this magical place she’d called home, Julia established ties with a respected local metalsmith to bring her raw stone creations to the Western world.
