Resort boutique Marina St Barth to move into bigger space on Palm Beach's Worth Avenue
Just in time for the season, French-born business owner Marina Cocher will debut a new Palm Beach location for her popular resort wear boutique Marina St Barth.
Cocher, who currently operates three small boutiques on Worth Avenue in Via Amore that total about 600 square feet, will consolidate into one 1,300-square-foot location in nearby Via Bice.
The store, at 313 1/2 Worth Avenue across from BiCE Ristorante, is expected to open in October, Cocher told the Daily News.

Boutique owner finds strength near the ocean, opens store on Worth Avenue
Boutique owner Marina Cocher is no stranger to disasters. Her resilience during a tsunami prepared her for her biggest task yet: opening a new store in a new town during a worldwide health pandemic.
And as she opens Marina St. Barth, a resort wear boutique on Worth Avenue, she's happy to once again be near the ocean, but that wasn't always the case.
In 2004, the deep sea turned from being a source of happiness to vitality when the French native found herself in the middle of a tsunami while vacationing in Thailand.

Marina Cocher considers St. Barth to be the most beautiful island in the world. “Here, I can rest and recharge my batteries in harmony with nature,” says the French-born world traveler and owner of her brand and namesake boutique, Marina St. Barth, the newest chic addition to Worth Avenue’s world-class fashion landscape.
Mother Nature wasn’t always so endearing to Marina, who survived the tsunami in Thailand in December 2004. Turning near tragedy into triumph further inspired Marina’s passion to live life gratefully, gracefully and in magnificent full color.

The French designer Marina Cocher started her shop in St Barth. Then Hurricane Irma destroyed the island in 2017, and she moved to Palm Beach. In 2021, she opened again in St Barth and opened new shop in Southampton. And now she’s unveiled her East Hampton outpost at 32 Park Place, next to Tracy Anderson.
As expected, this is where to find bathing suits, wraps, kaftans, shoes, hats and beach bags. But the shop also carries Oud’s fantastic print fashions from Paris, jelly bracelets, Carmen Sol tote bags and items from Charo Ruiz in Ibiza. There is probably no better place for women to go for beach essentials, resort wear, linen tops and pants and long dresses. The Eau d’Italy scented bar soaps will remind your guests of the Amalfi coast.

Now she’s unveiled an East Hampton outpost at 32 Park Place, which also carries other island-life labels, including Schutz shoes, Øud Paris fashions and Charo Ruiz’s frocks.
